NAKED ANGELS: TUESDAYS AT 9 CHICAGO

I've been doing weekly cold readings of scripts at The Annoyance Theater since September 2018.

"Tuesdays@9 is a free cold reading series started by the Naked Angels in New York in the early 1990s. Here's how it works: five or six writers have ten pages of a new unproduced play/teleplay/screenplay/work-in-progress read in front of a live audience. The writers (who have been notified their pieces are scheduled in the week prior) show up at the Annoyance Bar/Lobby at 8:15 pm; actors arrive/scenes are cast at 8:30; the house opens at 8:45 and the show starts at 9:00. There are no rehearsals - everything is read cold."
